Dr. Xavier Ramirez joined the Brandon Lakes team in August 2025. A graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, he also holds a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Puerto Rico–Mayagüez. Dr. Ramirez has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and ultrasound and is excited to begin his veterinary career caring for dogs and cats. Originally from Puerto Rico, he is glad to be back in a warmer climate with a shorter trip home to see family. When not in the clinic, he enjoys hiking, exploring parks, and collecting vinyl records. At home, he has a 9-year-old cat named Lyra, who rules the house.

Dr. Xavier Ramirez, originally from Puerto Rico, earned his DVM from The Ohio State University and joined Brandon Lakes in 2025. He is interested in soft tissue surgery and ultrasound. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, parks, vinyl records, and time with his cat, Lyra.
