Meet the people who make it their duty
to ensure your pet gets the best
possible care...
At Brandon Lakes Animal Hospital, we are dedicated to helping our patients and clients enjoy a stronger
bond together, and look forward to providing compassionate, friendly care for all small animal species,
including dogs, cats, ferrets, hamsters, gerbils, rats, mice, guinea pigs, and rabbits.
Dr. Woodside and his staff are continuing to advance their knowledge base to provide the most up to date
treatment recommendations so as to provide the most value for your visit. Dr. Woodside has a special
interest in keeping older pets healthy and pain free, while providing their owners with the peace of mind
that their "best friend" will remain part of the family with quality of life for as long as possible.
Our staff has a combined 38 years of service in veterinary medicine, and has the competence and confidence
to provide our patients and clients with state of the art care. We have recently remodeled and invested in
high technology equipment to serve our patients better. Come in to see.

I am originally from Kenosha, Wisconsin, and moved to Florida in 1985. I graduated from University of
South Florida in 1992, and married my wife Kathy in 1990. After years of working in retail, I entered
veterinary school at Ross University in 1997, and graduated in 2000.
We have enjoyed our dogs Heidi, Zeus and Gunner the Doberman for the past 13 years, as well as our cats
Otto, Harry and Stella, my office cat.
We were blessed by the birth of our daughter Hannah in June of 2005, and she has since become an animal
lover too! She and Gunner are like peas in a pod, and Otto the cat is chased by them daily.
My passion for veterinary medicine has led me to consider the human-animal bond as my reason for
practicing medicine. It is the cement by which we learn to love, teach, care for, and in some cases
tolerate, our pets. It is the reason we call our furry pals "family members", and do almost anything
for them. I take pride in being well read and current in my field, and consistently strive for a diagnosis.
I am thankful on a daily basis for a caring, professional, and conscientious staff, all of whom are dedicated
to the best patient care and client satisfaction.
Welcome to our practice, we look forward to meeting you and your pet!
